Starting in 2025, the International NAW.NRW Spring School invites students to get involved in a sustainable future. Its aim is to create a lively platform on which universities of applied sciences can network with society in order to work together on solutions to pressing sustainability issues. In 2025, the focus will be on social justice, as social justice and sustainability are inextricably linked.
The aim is to establish a dynamic platform that fosters collaboration between universities of applied sciences and society, enabling joint efforts to address pressing sustainability challenges.
Program and Registration
WHAT TO EXPECT?
- Participate in the JuStUS Spring School, an Erasmus+
- Blended Intensive Program with students from four different universities in Europe
- Explore five critical topics on sustainability and social justice in Europe
- Engage in interactive group work, expert input, and case study analysis
- Learn tools like Pasts-and-Futures Wheel, Theory of Change and DPSIR
- Participate in online preparatory sessions and a residential week in Bochum
- Gain multidisciplinary insights and collaborative experience with peers from diverse backgrounds
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Undergraduate/BSc students and early graduate/MSc students of all disciplines from the Universities for Applied Sciences in NRW and from the JuStUS Spring School partner universities.
